Welcome, We’re thrilled to have you as part of our flock!
Birders on a field trip use binoculars to search for birds. They’re all seated during this field trip (photo by Carolyn Byers/SoWBA).
Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance works to protect birds, plants, mammals, insects, and everything in between throughout the counties we serve. The biggest benefit of your membership is the knowledge that you are directly supporting local birds and their habitats. This is huge! Wisconsin’s birds need your support.
Inclusive Birding
Birding is for EVERYONE! Our staff and volunteers work hard to create an inclusive community. We welcome folks of all birding levels, all nature-inspired interests, and all races, sexual orientations, gender identities, and abilities. We offer binoculars for loan, many of our field trips are designed for accessibility, and we are proactively working to be an anti-racist organization.
