Evening Atlasing in Columbia County for Horned Larks, American Woodcocks, and Wilson’s Snipe

  • Goose Pond Sanctuary W7503 Kampen Road Arlington, WI, 53911 United States (map)

We will search for horned larks until sunset and then for American woodcock and Wilson’s snipe until 9:30 p.m.  Volunteers will split into teams and search from roads.  We will have a planned route for each team.  If you are not experienced with the three species you will be pared up with others who know all species.  We may even hear some owls.

We will be searching a number of atlas blocks and can use a good number of volunteers.
