Winter may give the impression of rest on the prairie, but we continue our hard work to restore and maintain the prairie landscape at Faville Grove! Join us for brush cutting parties each Wednesday in February as well as February 3 and 10 (Saturdays) as we hack away at buckthorn, boxelder, and other invasive shrubs that encroach on the prairie.

We'll meet at Buddy's place (N7710 Highway 89) and go from there. You can contact Drew beforehand to make sure we're going out, but it's not necessary. We've been cutting on the former Laas property, working around a small wooded area rimming the pond. We'll have a burn pile going each day for respite from the cold. With your help, we make great progress in these works days, and every day is rewarding to open up the vistas.
