Learning the Ropes of eBird: Tracking your bird observations online
We’re sorry, this class is sold out. Please contact Brenna at bmarsicek@madisonaudubon.org or 608-25-2473 to be added to the waiting list.
eBird can be a phenomenal resource for birders. This workshop will focus on getting you comfortable using the eBird website so you can benefit from the wealth of bird observation information in our area, track and share your birding checklists, and even use your smartphone to note what you see in the field.
This class will be computer-based. Kyle will walk you through the main functions and tools of the eBird website, and briefly describe how the eBird app can enhance your birding checklist experience. The class will be held in a computer lab, but participants are welcome to bring their own laptop or tablet if preferred.
