Birds need our help! North America has lost over 3 billion birds since the 1970s, but we can help #BringBirdsBack. By donating to our team, you're supporting the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin's Bird Protection Fund, which funds Wisconsin's highest priority bird conservation projects, and Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance which together with our members, we celebrate, enjoy, and protect Wisconsin's birds and natural heritage.
In mid-May, the Reckless Wrens team made up of SoWBA’s Goose Pond Sanctuary staff, volunteers, and friends, will be out birding on Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance properties in Columbia County and other birding hotspots in the area. Birds have made an incredible difference in our lives and we want to protect them. Every dollar counts when it comes to helping our birds, so no donation is too small. Thank you for considering!
Would you like to join our team? Fill out the form below to let us know you’re interested. Volunteers will join us during our various birding outings between 5:00pm on May 10 through Saturday, May 11 and visit Goose Pond Sanctuary, Erstad Prairie, Otsego Marsh, and other partner properties in Columbia County. We hope volunteers will also set up a fundraiser through the Birdathon website/platform — 50% of the donations collected through the Reckless Wrens come back to SoWBA’s Goose Pond Sanctuary for bird conservation projects.
