Through the tremendous power of on-the-ground volunteers, the Bald Eagle Nest Watch program has gathered important information about the health, productivity, and nesting success of around 200 Bald Eagle nests in Wisconsin since 2018. Join this presentation to learn more about what these volunteers look for, why the work matters, and how to get involved in the Manitowoc area.

About the speaker: Brenna Marsicek is the director of outreach for Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance and coordinates or supports a variety of volunteer citizen science programs including Bald Eagle Nest Watch, Kestrel Nest Box Monitoring Program, Bird Collision Corps, and the Madison-area Christmas Bird Count. She loves helping people connect with nature in creative, engaging, and meaningful ways.
