You care about birds. So do we!

Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance is your local bird conservation organization,
working to protect birds in southern Wisconsin and beyond.

While Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance (SoWBA) is a chapter of National Audubon, and both of our organizations have similar missions to protect birds, we are entirely independent nonprofits. Our board and staff, sanctuary lands, education program, newsletters, events—pretty much everything—are created, implemented, and funded separately.

Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance relies on local membership to make our work possible. When you become a member or donate to SoWBA, you are directly supporting local birds and their habitats—which makes a big difference right here in our community.

If you’ve visited our sanctuaries, joined one of our field trips, or just want to support bird conservation work happening close to home, consider joining the Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance flock!

Whether you are a member of Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance, National Audubon, or both, thank you for supporting bird conservation.

A quick reminder . . .

Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance can help you with questions related to your local membership, but we are not able to assist you with managing your National Audubon membership or mailing preferences. To do so, visit their website or contact them directly.
