Fair Meadows State Natural Area is a gorgeous, 376-acre property near Milton, Wisconsin that has been carefully restored to native landscapes. The property includes diverse habitats, such as oak woodland/savanna, wet prairie, sedge meadow, open marsh and a spring complex. We expect to find the June flowering plants in full bloom, as well as hear a variety of grassland and woodland birds like Bobolinks, warblers, sparrows, and more.
We will wrap up the field trip at 11:30am, but feel welcome to bring a sack lunch and enjoy eating lunch with a view at Fair Meadows!
Please note that Fair Meadows SNA is closed for general public access. Any entry must be pre-arranged with the property owners.
