Join Eric Manges of Eric Manges Nature, Holy Wisdom Monastery, SOS Save Our Songbirds, and Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance for a presentation about growing native plants in any location — including a small balcony or front porch — and how that container of native plants can support wildlife.

Then, head outside for a hands-on activity of planting your own container to take home, each container having five native plants great for pollinators (exact species will be determined a few weeks before the event.

No yard? No problem! This event is designed for individuals who want to help wildlife from their balcony or porch. Have a yard? That’s great! You’re welcome and invited to participate too!

The presentation, plants, and potting soil are included in the cost of the workshop. You can bring your own container (#5 size, which is approx. 11” wide and 11” tall) or pay $5 for us to provide a container for you (shown here).
