Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance Sanctuaries Fund
Planning for the future in Wisconsin involves making sure the necessary resources are available to care for the things we cherish. Thanks to the generosity of Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance (SoWBA, formerly Madison Audubon) members and donors, the board of directors was able to establish the SoWBA Sanctuaries Fund, to be administered by the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin as part of their Wisconsin Conservation Endowment. As this endowment grows, it will help us fulfill our long-term commitment to the maintenance, expansion, and enhancement of our wildlife sanctuaries that so many native species call home and that so many people enjoy.
WHAT IS AN ENDOWMENT?
An endowment is a permanent fund that is carefully invested and managed to generate income. This fund provides a perpetual source of reliable income that helps meet its intended purpose.
HOW YOUR GIFT HELPS
The Southern Wisconsin Bird Alliance (formerly Madison Audubon) Sanctuaries Fund is a bit like a "nest egg,” and we need your help to strengthen it. A valuable feature of the fund is that your gifts are permanent. That is, once your money is placed in the endowment, only the investment income from the contribution is used to support SoWBA's wildlife sanctuaries. Therefore, your original gift is never depleted, but continues to give, over and over again, year after year. This constant source of funding will help sustain SoWBA's mission into the future.
How you can give
