When you join your local Audubon chapter (that’s us! We used to be called Madison Audubon), you make amazing things happen locally! The resources you donate stay close to home and help with habitat preservation and education in southern Wisconsin.
LOCAL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS:
The satisfaction of knowing that your membership fees directly benefit local birds, their habitats, and the people in southern Wisconsin who care about them.
Paper mailing of our quarterly newsletter.
Increased access to SoWBA classes and special events.
MEMBERSHIP LEVEL OPTIONS:
As of January 1, 2025, our membership fees have changed. (Want to learn why? Check out our FAQs page!)
You can become a member by donating annually ($35 minimum) or monthly ($5/month minimum) as a Frequent Flyer.
Membership Levels + Annual Dues:
Flappy Friend—$35 (membership for one individual)
Flappy Family—$60 (membership benefits for up to two adults and any children (under age 18) in the same household)
Bird Lover—$100
Dollar-a-Day Bird Lover—$365
Bird Fanatic—$500
Conservation Leader—$1,000 (comes with other benefits, check them out here!)

Complimentary memberships are available to make membership accessible for everyone in our community. Complimentary memberships are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please let us know soon if you would like to join the flock through this avenue.
