Join us for a fun, energetic, and interesting field trip to Patrick Marsh Wildlife Area in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin! This field trip is geared for all levels, and will be especially fun for entry-level birders who want to enjoy a bird outing with Dexter "The Wisco Birder" Patterson.
Dexter is the co-founder of the BIPOC Birding Club of WI and birding enthusiast well known on Instagram (@WiscoBirder) for his fun and accessible bird-watching adventures. He is dedicated to making birding more inclusive for everyone in Wisconsin. Patrick Marsh is one of Dexter's favorite birding spots in Dane County, especially during the fall migration.

ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES:
Trail grade and #/type of trail impediments are ok for those with difficulty walking or wearing children in packs
Field trip leader is adept at birding by ear and willing to accommodate those with visual impairments
APPROXIMATE DISTANCE FOR WALKING: 1-3 miles
COVID-19 NOTES:
We follow the CDC guidelines in place at the time of the field trip.
All of our field trip leaders are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
We strongly encourage all participants to be fully vaccinated.
Children are welcome to attend, and required to wear masks when appropriate.
