We’re sorry, this field trip is canceled due to concerns around COVID-19.
Come visit the green-built Aldo Leopold Foundation building, as well as Leopold’s Shack, made famous in his book The Sand County Almanac. We will have a guided tour with Leopold Foundation staff and will be looking for early fall colors, late-blooming plants, and listening for birds along the way.
Bring your binoculars, clothing appropriate for being outdoors and indoors, bug spray and sunscreen if you wish, and a bag lunch.
Those who wish to carpool should meet at Waunakee Middle School (1001 South St, Waunakee) at 9:00am.
