These four once-fuzzy, gray Northern Harrier chicks left their nest in Browne Prairie on approximately August 1, and have begun to explore the surrounding areas.

In July, Goose Pond staff and volunteers assisted Dick Nikolai, Wisconsin Purple Martin Association board member, master bander, and expert, with banding 580 Purple Martins at four Amish farms.
